Heather’s work is based on you and your needs, and she is committed to offering a variety of modalities within a safe and sacred healing space for those who seek a moment of peace, relaxation, and multi-layered healing. In collaboration with Serenity Counseling and Wellness Center, Sacred Wisdom, LLC is pleased to offer trauma-informed massage therapy. Throughout the years, Heather has worked in a variety of settings from gyms to large health clubs, acupuncture clinics, chiropractic offices, hospice companies, and as an educator. Her continued education also includes an Associates in Applied Science, Master Herbalist Certification, and she is scheduled to complete her Bachelor's in Health Service Administration in Spring 2023. Heather recently completed Trauma Informed Yomassage certification and is excited to offer private and group sessions. Additionally, she has education with hot stone, facelift massage, massage for the hospitalized and medically frail, hospice patients, certification in Ear Seeding, and Cupping for massage therapists. She attended the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage for their basic course, and later returned for their Medical Massage program, earning over 1100 hours of massage training. She’s been practicing massage therapy for about 20 years. We will discuss all funding options with each interested person prior to admission.Heather is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Practitioner, Wise Woman Herbalist and Massage Therapy Educator. We accept most insurances and private pay. These services are provided in residential facilities that offers 24-hour supervision and support. ![]() The purpose of these services is to be a buffer between crisis and hospitalization, serve as a step down service following an inpatient hospitalization, as well as provide assistance with identifying community resources to ensure ongoing stabilization. ![]() These services are for individuals who may be experiencing crisis due to their mental health diagnosis. Residential Crisis Stabilization (RCS) Services are short term acute crisis supports that last from 5 to 15 days. Residential Crisis Stabilization Services Typical enrollment time before successful discharge ranges from 6-12 months on average. These services have proven to be most effective when provided in conjunction with outpatient therapy. Sessions may be conducted using telehealth methods to support access to care during the COVID-19 pandemic. These services are provided in the home for up to 10 hours per week. Intensive In Home (IIH) Services are time limited services for children and adolescents ages 5 – 21 who are experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges that could lead to an out of home placement such as hospitalization, judicial involvement, or CPS involvement. Typical enrollment time before successful discharge ranges from 12-18 months on average. ![]() These services are provided in the home for up to 15 hours per week. Mental Health Skill Building (MHSB) Services are time limited services for adults ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness (Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Schizophrenia, etc.) and are in need of assistance with developing and implementing necessary coping and daily living skills to live a healthy and functional life. ![]()
